The Konopiště chateau is about 45 km out
of Prague. It was founded in the 14th century and in 1887 it was
renovated by the successor to Habsburg throne, František Ferdinand d´Este, who
was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914, starting the World War I. The chateau is
famous for its fascinating collection of weapons and hunting trophies. After
visiting the chateau, we will take you to a notable brewery in Benešov where
you get a chance to see how the Czech favourite beer is made. After tasting
beers you will be taken back to Prague by our bus.
